I was born in the year 8th of Mangshir, in Hetauda. From Hetauda, our family shifted to Sarlahi. Most of my childhood days were spent there. My father Puskar Bahadur Gotame Khatri works in a Bank. My mother Laxmi Devi Khatri is a typical housewife. Altogether we are four brothers and one sister in the family.

I joined Shree Chakra Janta higher secondary school and my schooling was finished there. After I passed my S.L.C, I joined R.R. College for my higher study. Since academics never really interested me, I could not continue my study due to my certain reason but instead chose to work on my passion for music.

I used to sing from my childhood but after I completed my SLC, I was more fascinated by music. I was known that it will be very difficult for me to establish as a Kamal Khatri but still I dare to try it. Specially, my friends used to encourage me and used to tell me that I possessed a melodious voice. However, with time, my interest in music overtook my passion for everything in my life. My family too encouraged trying my luck in music and I came to Kathmandu in 2059 BS.Some of the list of hit songs of Ethos Band are as follows:
