Biography - Nima Rumba

Nima Rumba is one of the solo artist of Nepal.Nima Rumba is a popular singer, lyricist, musician, and actor from Nepal.

 Nima likes to say that he was inspired by Michael Jackson and George Michael.Nima Rumba was born on  1973,26th May in Suvarnapur one of the place in  Parsa district  of Birjung,Nepal. He is a popular singer/lyricist/musician/actor of Nepal. He is   a very good painter/artist in school age. He had a deep passion in music & dance .

After SLC he meet his big brother friends Rabi, Saroj, Bire, they were in music. So he joined them and learned quite a lot how to sing and play guitar from them. And pretty soon he became their Vocalist.  Later they establish the band  name ‘The Bass’. There he worked hardly. He got married with Shelly and had two children.

He started his music carrier in the year 1989 with his song aai Deu priya. The song become hit and  won The 2’nd Prize in “ Rara Nepali POP Music Competiton 1991“ His first ever music video realesed was mrs. cat walk.  In 1993 he did his  first solo song “Jadaichu Tadha Tadha” which he himself wrote and did music himself and was released in ‘Touch-1′.  In 1994 – First solo Album ” Suna Suna “. Likewise, in 2000 – Third Album ” Huri Bataas ” which won Hit’s FM’ Music Award ‘The Album Of The Year’.  He is  selected in “ NEPAL’S TOP 50 PERSONALITIES held on 2004 “. He is Brand Ambassador in 2005  of Shaka Laka Boom Noodles, Subisu Broadband Cablenet, Mero Personal Computers. He also seen in different advertisement as 2008 – Sanmiguel Beer , 2009 – Yamaha FZ motorbike, 2010 – Nano Noodles  and in 2011- Emami FAIR & HANDSOME.
