Will Nepal Register the First Point Today Against Cameroon?

Nepal were clearly undone by Maldives in their first match of the tournament as the Gorkhalisoften gifted away the possession to the opposition and made no attacking forays.

It was also observed that they resorted to a long-ball strategy which leaves them vulnerable to counter-attacks from their rivals of any given day while a lack of scoring intent doesn't make a good mix.

Combining all this to Krishna Thapa's 4-4-2 formation, his two strikers Santosh Sahukhala and Bharat Khawas will have to sweat extra ounches of their efforts on the pitch, given that Cameroon play a faster brand of football with the objective of 'passing' quick.

Although Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso's young African side could not hold on to their lead against Syria who forced a 2-2 in their last exchange, Nepal's defence might have a lot to prove on Sunday.

Cameroon have already made their hunger for goals quite evident with Ebanga Bertin and Ousmila Baba often moving together thus leaving the rival defense on their toes and with no room each time they take on attacking ways.

We can expect results from Nepal only if they manage to take their game to the wings towards Santosh Sahukhala while the experience of Bharat Khawas can make a significant impact.

Nepal defender Biraj Maharjan and goalkeeper Ritesh Thapa will be expected to up their game as any sort of complacency could easily result in defeat against the local talent of the Cameroon side who have all to play for.
